The CHAOS-N jamming acoustic system is designed to prevent unauthorized eavesdropping by any types of transmitters, wired microphones, stethoscopes, dictaphones, directional microphones or any types of devices with the "microphone effect" or those subject to "high frequency imposing". 

 

Supplied headsets provide protection from "lips reading". 

 

The CHAOS-N can be used as a stationary or portable device, designed for long continuous use. 

 

Earphones with noise protection headsets and special microphones are used during negotiations. 

 

Audio signals from microphones are processed to cut off the noise component. Individual volume setup and microphone on/off control are available. 

 

If intercepted, speech of a user will represent a mixture of his own speech and the "speech noise" produced by the device. 

 

It is virtually impossible for an outsider to extract the initial user's speech from the noise mixture. 

 

Type of generated noise - standard speech-like noise or specially made from the prerecorded speech of the client. 

 

It is possible to connect additional components and increase number of conversing persons up to eight. 

 

The CHAOS-N is made in shockproof and waterproof case.
