The processor supports 2 or 4 independent protection zones, allowing the protected perimeter to be divided into separate detection sections. Each zone can accommodate up to 500 m of sensitive element and up to 500 m of non-sensitive element. Independent relay outputs are provided for each protection zone, allowing alarm signals to be transmitted to a security control panel or other compatible monitoring equipment.
In addition to intrusion detection, the processor continuously monitors the integrity of the sensitive and non-sensitive elements. Cable faults, including loss of line integrity, can be detected and indicated separately. The processor also provides a dedicated tamper output for detecting unauthorized opening of its enclosure. All relay outputs are provided as dry contacts.
